596 Acres is looking for a Python and Django full-stack developer to help create a new website based on our Living Lots framework. You will work with our lead developer (Eric) to map vacant land and provide organizing tools (similar to Living Lots NYC) in a new and exciting location.
Requirements:
- Python and Django
- Front-end work, including CSS and JavaScript
- JavaScript build tools such as Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp
Nice-to-haves:
- Familiarity working with open data, including map data
- Server administration
- New York-based
Expect to work 150 hours, and the pay is $5,000 for the project. If all goes well there will likely be other opportunities for you with the organization.
