Community Land Trusts illustration

NEXT THURSDAY, February 2 from 6pm to 8:30pm, join together to build on organizing that led the City to request responses from community land trusts (CLTs) focused on housing at the Community Development Project at the Urban Justice Center, 123 William St, Manhattan, 16th floor. By putting land into community ownership, a CLT can ensure community control for the long haul and provide truly affordable housing and other spaces.

We will get to know one another, identify strengths and gaps in our network and outline best practices for responding to the request HPD put out (http://www1.nyc.gov/site/hpd/developers/request-for-proposals/CLT-RFEI.page). Facilitators will also share experience with past HPD proposals and information learned at the pre-submission conference HPD is holding this Friday.

Please RSVP: organizers@596acres.org, subject “CLT WORKSHOP”

DINNER WILL BE PROVIDED.
